My name is Takashi Yoshioka, pronounced “Tah-kah-shi Yo-shi-oh-kah”. I am originally from Japan, and came to the U.S. to study neuroscience in a graduate school in Buffalo, New York. Since my undergraduate major was electrical engineering and I had no background in biology in high school or college, I think it was a miracle that I was accepted to a health-science related graduate school. I met my wife in school who was from Finger Lakes area. We moved from Buffalo to Pittsburgh and then to Baltimore due to job changes. I know a little bit about moving, and how changes in jobs affect people’s lives.
My wife and I have raised our three phenomenal daughters in Baltimore County. We have been blessed by our Grace Fellowship Church and its people with international ministry and employment ministry over 20 years. That’s a long time to stay in a single church and a single place. I know my town and the surrounding areas well.
Although my engineering and scientific backgrounds often help me to see what is most important in the eyes of the buyers and sellers, buying and selling a home is more than just looking at numbers. There is memory to be made in the new house you and your family are moving into, and there is so much memory you have accumulated in the house you have grown up in. When time comes to sell your house or parent’s house, I need to respect the emotional aspect of the sales transaction for my clients. In all processes, my goal is to provide all the necessary information for my clients so that they can make the best possible educated decisions for the best outcome.
